子供の頃から着物に親しみ、祖父母や母の着物も大切に受け継いできました。
しかし体型が合わず、なかなか袖を通す機会がない――そんな経験から
「同じ思いをしている人が他にもいるのでは？」と感じるようになりました。

肌が弱く、天然素材でなければ着られない体質です。

絹は人の肌のペーパーとほぼ同じで敏感肌にも優しく、
吸湿・放湿性があり、紫外線カットなどの機能性にも優れています。

物理学や構造力学が好きだった理系出身という背景もあり、絹の特性を活かす
工夫やアイディアを0から考えることを得意です。

50歳を過ぎ、体調の変化と共に「窮屈な服」から離れ、
楽でありながら他の人とかぶらず、おしゃれに見える服を求めるように
なったことも、創作の原点になっています。

I have been familiar with kimono since childhood, cherishing those passed down from my grandma and mother. Yet, because of differences in my body shape, I rarely had the chance to wear them—an experience that made me wonder if others might feel the same.

Having sensitive skin, I can only wear natural fabrics. Silk, with a structure almost identical to human skin, is gentle even on delicate skin. It also excels in functionality, offering breathability, moisture control, and natural UV protection.

With a background in science and a love for physics and structural mechanics, I enjoy creating ideas from scratch and finding ways to bring out the unique qualities of silk.

After turning fifty, changes in my health led me away from “constricting clothes.” Instead, I began to seek garments that are comfortable yet stylish—pieces that feel unique and do not blend into the crowd. This pursuit became the origin of my creative journey.
